You know the old saying failing to plan is planning to fail? Well, I have the planning portion down pat!
I wrote EVERYTHING in a large planner. I planned meticulously. I sat said planner on the counter open on the planned pages… you know, just so it would be in my face as a constant reminder. Well, Zoey and I came in after our cardio session, and Seth had on his sad face. He spilled coffee ALL OVER my beautiful planner. So I just put everything in Google Calendar instead. Whether or not I like non-paper calendars is undecided.
Training has going pretty darn well! I feel like I am back in action! I’m able to work out with decent intensity. I’ve been doing cardio with Zoey three times a week. She LOVES the Couch to 5k program! Loves it! It’s just a little difficult getting her out of bed in the morning.
Is this normal?!
Also, my feet have hunks of skin coming off the bottom. Secksy. I was going to take a picture and post it, but I’m feeling lazy. Just imagine E.T.’s feet with peeling blisters on the bottom. Yep, that is pretty accurate. The blisters don’t hurt and are kind of fun to peel, so I’m not broken up about it. But, before I have no flesh left on the soles of my feet… what should I be doing to keep this from occurring?
Diet… it’s not quite there yet. I have made better food choices overall, and that is a step in the right direction! I also tried a bunch of new recipes last week, so I will be sure to share the ones that were a hit! I’m kicking it into high gear on Tuesday! Cutting hard for the remainder of the stretch! I’m ready, Freddy! But first I have to get through the long weekend! Cookouts galore, home improvement plans, tattoos (maybe!), and I am sure plenty of booze. I need rest, too, because this chickie has the sickies. I blame Seth the Nasty Germ Spreader!
